Event Reminder

Hello Everyone,

This is just a reminder that the del Sol event I am putting together is now only 25 days away! Like mentioned before, this is a joint event for the several del Sol Clubs as well Miata Clubs. The event itself will be held on Saturday, April 7. I have more details below as well as a write-up on the event that was fetured in several Miata Club Newsletters, Web Sites and del Sol Club Sites.

Meeting time is 11:30
Drivers meeting at Noon


I have finally decided that it is time to bring my two loves together. I am putting together a joint event between the Honda del Sol and the Mazda Miata. I have invited the Puget Sound Miata Club, Okanagan Miata Club as well as the local Canadian del Sol group. Also invited to this joint venture are the Mount Hood Miata Club, the Willamette Valley Miata Club and Team Sol of Oregon. We are hoping for a truly amazing group with a great mix of both vehicles.

This should be a very exciting event with a great turn-out. We will cruise on the back roads through some of Washington?s most well recognized areas.

We will be meeting at the Enumclaw Safeway (152 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw). Please join us for a fun day of getting together with fellow open top car enthusiasts. It is sure to be memorable!!!!

If there is anyway any of you guys (and gals) can make it, that would really be great! I know two del Sol owners are coming in just for this event from San Diego, CA ! ! ! Come on guys, lets drive those Sols!!!

I'm interested in showing. The only concerns I have is that I have the funds to pay for $3 a gallon, and if everyone has ear plugs for my car. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I plan on being there. Sounds like it will be fun. This might even motivate me to get to work on some of the projects I have been wanting to do.

pffft...i've been ready since the first post about the meet like 2 months ago lol. I went and put in a day off request the week later. So i'm golden. I'll be comming through with a fellow miata that i kinda just recently met so it should be fun. Anyone from the southern end of seattle wanna meet up for the trip there???

Sweet! I was hoping you and your Miata friend were still set to come!! So far we are at eight Miatas and three del Sols that have confirmed to come. I really want to get some del Sols going!! Lets show those Miatas whos boss (event though I am President of the Puget Sound Miata Club).....shhhh don't tell the Miata people I said that!!! HeHeHeHe......

I'm sorry to say I won't be able to attend, even though I'd love to, I'll be out of town at the time and can't be in both places same time (my loss as I really wanted to go). I would hope every member of our group will not miss this meet as it should be a great event this time around.
I will also be sending out an email to members on the mailing list after posting this.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No problem, I wish I could, but I would like to take this time to thank you for coming up with this idea and for following through with it, and would hope everyone else WILL be able to make it to it. It is going to be an excellent meet, maybe we can have another one again in the summer which I'll be able to make it to.
Also people, take lots of pictures so I can see what went on at it, OK? Short movies are good too.
